The E. Kneale Dockstader Foundation supports educational, charitable, and scientific activities that enhance and optimize the natural environment in southern Chester County. Proposals are accepted from February 1 – April 1 each year.

The natural environment is sustained on the combination of our region’s resources, commitments and skills.  The Dockstader Foundation nurtures programs that make connections with, and builds understanding of our environment in this region.

Grant And Project Updates

• 2023 Dockstader Foundation Awards
  In 2023, the Dockstader Foundation hosted an awards ceremony at the Stroud Water Research Center to distribute grants totaling $108,800 for thirteen environmental projects and studies in Southern Chester County. Additionally, Dockstader Foundation awarded $20,000 in college scholarships to outstanding local high school seniors who intend to pursue environmental studies at college. • Funding Cycle Deadlines
  The Dockstader Foundation, a charitable public environmentally-focused foundation, announces its 2023 grant funding cycle from February 1 – April 1, 2023. The Foundation subsidizes projects that enhance and optimize the natural environment in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania.
